My nephew just got home for the first time in 8 months since going into the Air Force for basic training and tech school. We were all so proud of how much he has grown and what he is doing for our freedom. That actually got me to thinking how much CFS truly appreciates all of the men and women serving in our nation’s armed forces. Also, we are very proud to have been a part of outfitting many of the U.S. Navy’s print shops at sea.
A frequent request we get from military personnel is to get shipping to an APO, FPO or DPO address. Of course we’d love it if we could do just that. However there there are a number of reasons that restrict us from doing so, below are just a few:
Most of the manufacturers that we drop ship from only ship via UPS or FedEx. Additionally, there is a 70-pound weight limit for shipping to an APO type address and many of the machines that we sell exceed that weight limit. Lastly, there is a $100 insurance limit on all APO shipments, so should a machine that costs over $100 experience damage in transit, repayment for the damage will not be covered.
Aside from that, we do provide FREE ground shipping to street address numbers on all orders subtotaling $50 or more and for most items we ship same business day if ordered before 2:00 pm PST (west coast). You can get a look at our complete shipping policies here.
